Classic Americana with a laid-back groove.
Jared Daws, an award-winning southern-based Country/Americana artist, just dropped his brand-new single, “They Ain’t You,” today, October 23rd, 2026. He’s gearing up to open for Grammy winner LeAnn Rimes at the Washington Parish Fair on Saturday, October 24th, and what perfect timing to release a new song.
“They Ain’t You” nods to the Deep South, inspired by a simple guitar riff and a need to celebrate what makes people unique. Jared says he wrote the song because it’s so easy these days for people to blend in, but he wanted to highlight individuality. The chorus says it best: “There may be a trillion stars, but they ain’t you.”
The track has that classic Americana feel—acoustic guitar, steel pedal, and a laid-back groove. Jared’s soulful voice takes center stage, backed by rich harmonies. Jared makes the type of music that gives you chill bumps – the good kind. The electric guitar solo in the bridge gives it even more Americana flair, and fans of Chris Stapleton will feel right at home listening to Jared’s music. Jared’s music just hits all the right notes.
Daws is a storyteller at heart. He pours his own life and real experiences into his music, creating songs that you can really see yourself in. Music runs in his family—his dad was a musician, too, and Jared has fond memories of singing along to country songs in the truck. Those roots have shaped his unique sound and helped him stand out amongst the others.
With “They Ain’t You” out now and a big show with LeAnn Rimes tomorrow, Jared Daws is reaching new fans and starting an exciting chapter. There’s more to look forward to, too—a music video drops November 6th, and more new music and shows are on the way.
Stream “They Ain’t You” today.
