Their latest tour is proof that the Fray’s music still resonates.
The Fray rolled into Asbury Park for an unforgettable night at the legendary Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 19, 2026. The place was packed—about 5,000 fans hanging out in the warm, muggy air, just steps from the ocean. There’s just something special about a summer concert at the Jersey Shore, and this one really hit the spot.
The Fray, who’ve been rocking the charts since the early 2000s, put on a show that was all about connecting with the crowd as much as the music. Their stage presence was awesome—every move and every chat with the audience felt real and genuine. You could feel the energy as they played their biggest hits, and I found myself singing along with everyone else to the songs that have been part of our lives for years.

Something that really stuck out was how mixed the crowd was. There were longtime fans who’ve been into The Fray since day one and younger people just now getting into their music. It was awesome to see parents and kids, friends of every age, all swaying and singing together—it just shows how much the band means to people.
The whole night was a blast from start to finish. The Fray didn’t show up alone—they brought Dashboard Confessional and Colony House with them, and both bands got everyone pumped up for the main act. By the time The Fray hit the stage, the crowd was buzzing, and the good vibes kept going all night. It honestly felt like a big celebration of music, memories, and hanging out together—one of those nights you never want to end. Definitely one of the best shows of the summer.
